That was hillarious. Tomorrow's a holiday, so maybe I'll have to give that a try? They don't hang out in front of the home centers here, but there is a two-block section of the town where they do hang out. (centered between the homeless shelter and "Dave's Tavern"). Not sure where I'd take them, since we don't have an INS office. We do have a new county prison, so that would be pretty cool.

.if folks would quit hiring them for crap wages there wouldn't be a problem,would there?
They are guys just like he said that like and will work.That's bad?I don't think that because they are illegals it makes them less of a man than me,so why would I treat them like one.
I think that these people that go around pulling pranks like that need to get to work and start treating people with a little more respect and less racism.
I wouldn't hire an illegal but I sure wouldn't do anything like that to anyone.It's wrong however you look at it.

Way back when....EVERY group of immigrants to the "new world" were harassed and "given" the **** work. The only difference? The old school immigrants at least had the decency to go through Ellis Island (proper channels).

I have almost the exact same background.
My mom came over from Germany in the 50's along with her elderly parents a few years later, and half my father's siblings and his parents came from Italy in the 190x's.
They ALL learned the language and assimilated. There was NO German bodegas for my Mom to shop in with everything written in her language.

To say that today's ILLEGAL immigrants are the same, and is a HUGE INSULT to much of my family, and MILLIONS and MILLIONS of other LEGAL immigrants.

yup.they come here too.some migrated from the south,and some from the north.Exactly where isn't really known.Indians weren't much for keeping records they passed on thier history by telling it generation after generation.
