Lost A Wife Today

It doesnt hurt and probably wont, therein lays the problem it seems, maybe, who knows. I'm 45 and numb as a 2 by 4. Life was rough and started out at 16, not whining just saying.

I really thought she had excellent character, maybe she does. But I'm done, bitch walks out and I'm done. I'm no abuser, just numb.I fvcking hate disloyalty.

Why do people hate those that survive and do things? I know the answer, I'm just pissed.

Make millions, buy the biggest house in Tulsa, and drive by her craphole apartment everyday in your stretched Mercedes.

Sorry to hear that. Nothing I can say will uplift you. Your words lead me to believe that feelings were lost long ago. All I can say is this, people who stay together in loveless relationships are cheating themselves and their partner of finding true happiness. As much as I believe it takes two people to maintain a relationship, I also believe that sometimes parting is necessary to achive or find what we really desire in life.

Good guess Bob, she never had anything. Married 23 years to a nobody and I'm the problem. Geeze, you just dont see these things coming. I'm too old to be making mistakes.

Two years is more than enough time if you lived together.

No **** huh?
The last year and a half I mostly spent remodeling a HO's house, then building an a (nice)apartment in their barn. He was 60's retired navy officer, she was 50 and still sort of hot, 4 young kids, the good life. I envied these people.

Then one day he came to me.... now he lives in the barn apartment. It is nice apartment though....What a ****head lack of pride MFer. Crash & burn.

For those of us that have gone thru this before I can say you will survive. It's rough for the first little bit, sometimes it takes years others a matter of a few weeks.

What you really need to do is get away, take a break, even though you can't afford it, go somewhere and treat yourself, indulge, let your hair down, hang with people, whatever it takes.

In due time you will be back and be back stronger than ever.

Pride in your work and people around you (family, country, etc...) is a good quality. Pride in yourself is dangerous and will always cause problems one way or another.

Seems there are others here who went through what you're going through now. It's good you have people you can talk to (even if it's online) that can offer advice.

Re: Lost A Wife Today

The most important thing to remember is to never give up, some of the guys here know i am in my mid 40'S and just got married. One of the most amazing things about life is how quickly it can change. unfortunately those rules apply to good changes and bad. Hang in, the good is coming. G

I have been married 25 1/2 years to the same woman. We are a team. I do not know what I would do without her.

There are some good ones out there.

Re: Lost A Wife Today

Hang in there buddy,

You did the right thing coming here to talk about it and get it out. Believe it or not, taking these necessary steps talking about the hurt will eventually help get all of this past you.

You're never to old to find love again. Remember that.

In reality, it's not a loss at all, - - it's an opening for someone decent.

Good luck.

Re: Lost A Wife Today

I found her for ya. I stuck a stamp on her a$$ and sent her back. I don't want her....

If it was a bad match it'll be the best thing you could have happen. If it wasn't you'll suffer like no tomorrow. Sounds like it time to hit the cork and celebrate.
