Little Bedtime Reading/thought For The Day

been a pretty humbling week

there's a lot of criticism on here (im to blame just as much as anyone else)

but ive come to a conclusion

there is NOT A SOUL here (and maybe not in the real world either) that knows how to run your business

you can read all sorts of books, ask all sorts of questions ... but it's you that's goin to be makin the putt on the 18th

in other words ... there's no experts here ...

you're on your own ...

sleep well

So true.

I think that is one of the biggest things that attracts some of us to this crazy deal of self-employment. I know it does me.

Right or Wrong. Success or Failure. Decent job or Artwork.

In the end its all on us, nobody else.

Yep,

Biggest lessons are learned from your own dumb mistakes and we all make pretty regular contributions to the dumb mistakes vault, when it comes to business.

There are too many variables that will affect any given business, issue, area, etc....

But, there still are some very good bits of advice that can be had at the forums, you just have to pick and choose what works for your circumstances...

Aside from that, there are also many entertaining stories of experiences, including ones where people share what they have learned from their dumb mistakes....

I shared my own dumb injury story last year on here, by starting it out with:

"Let me introduce myself......I'm an idiot......."
