Lightning Struck
We had some heavy lightning storms here Sunday, at least in Central Jersey. Knocked our power out for about 12 hours, too.
I just finally just got around to it today to cut up some pretty good-sized fallen tree branches that crushed part of my fencing, covered my trailer, knocked some picks off their perches, and generally cut off access to the rest of my back yard. The biggest branches that fell were about 14" in diameter and about 16' long or so. The trailer didn't really suffer any appreciable damage, it just got knocked into the ground a little ![]() ![]()

Re: Lightning StruckQuote:
Yeah, - - the trees they came off are about a good 80 feet tall. I had one tree removed from my yard (about 8 years ago) that was a good 4 1/2' in diameter. It was only about 25 feet from the back of the house, - - and was startin' to lean a little bit much . . .

Re: Lightning Struck
Jeez, thanks . . .
![]() Last time a whole tree came down, and fell parallel with the back of the same trailer, missed it by mere inches, - - some of that tree is still laying there (it looks like I backed up the trailer right against it). I haven't even used it as a trailer in 3 years or so, - - it serves as a glorified dumpster.
