LCD TV Problem
I have a Sony 46W4100 LCD tv that I bought 15 months ago and it has two places at the top of the screen that have 5"X3" sections that have horizontal lines. Anyone have any idea what the problem might be and how much it would cost and/or how hard it would be to fix? I'm going to try calling Sony tomorrow to see if they'll help me out but from what I've read it doesn't sound too promising. After spending $2000+ on the thing you would think it should last a little longer than 15 months.

Re: LCD TV Problem
We have a JVC 47 inch LCD that is about a year old. service guy has been here 4 times doing warranty work. Horizontal lines started off once in a while and eventually occurred almost all the time. They replaced every component in the TV including the screen. Its been working fine since, other than the occasional "freeze" which happens about 3-4 times a week. They say these are more like a computer than a TV.
