"The King Of Cool"

His father, William, was a stunt pilot for an aerial circus, who abandoned Steve and his mother shortly before the birth. His mother, Julian, was an alcoholic; unable

Happy Birthday!

Mom was from Crawfordsville(sp?) or Fortsville(sp?). Dad was born in Indy and raised in Hagerstown.

AAAh! "The Get Away"!
1972 Sam Peckinpah (The Wild Bunch), Steve McQueen, Ali McGraw!

Neolithic = Stone Age
That's me, and my first computer was a used
surplus thing right out of the Flintstones.
First ISP would only allow 8 characters,
so...
the way I pronounce it, doesn't need the "H" anyway.
Still the Stone Age Man,
and proud of it.

Son and DIL (mostly her I suspect)
organized a surprize party tonite.
Thought the three of us were going to
The Slippery Noodle for supper and some blues.
40 people showed up!
Private room and all.
Didn't think I could still be suprized....
I was wrong!
Eddie Shaw was playing
(first saw him 40 yrs ago as
back up player for Muddy Waters)
VAST quantities of magical amber
Irish elixir flowed my way!
(God Bless The Irish Distillers!!!)
Hmmm, the next sentence is likely to be
"Geeze I love you guys!"

Tell you what though,
so far...
60 ain't as bad as I suspected.

Night all!

Thanks!
Built a school in Fortville,
worked for a company out of Hagerstown,
got drunk in Crawfordsville(more than once).

BTW:
The designer of the "new" Mustang
specified that the exhaust system
be tuned to match the sound track
from BULLIT.

Re: "The King Of Cool"

I believe that Shelby had a hand in the movie and the new car.

I have a friend with a 350 and a 500, nothing like grinding gears in an old muscle car!
