Just Curious

Happy New Year,
I was wondering when any of you started your business did you also work a full time job until you built your cliental base and word of mouth?
Any and all insight will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again and may we all have a prosperous and blessed New Year.
Brian

Re: Just Curious

I was labelled a subcontractor right out of high school, with no clue what a business was, nor did I realize I was one. Ya, I still flipped burgers at night, and framed houses during the day.

Re: Just Curious

I quit my job and started a business. But I do know of a local plumber who worked for the government who kept working for them and just did outside work on weekends and evenings to get started. That may be a good way to do it, especially since he probably made a lot more money when he was working for them.
