I used to get on ct chat on my laptop. I tried with my desktop and all I get is a blank box with an "X" in the left corner. I went to internet options and enabled java, but still cant get in.

os is winxp

Also I have the administrator account seperate from the guest. The guest can not download anything without my password. I usually have to log on as the admin to download programs.

JavaScript and Java are not the same things.

You may not have Java installed.

The chat forum runs on Java within your browser window.

You also may not have enabled it within your browser. If a little bar drops down from the top of your browser asking you to enable it, that may be why.
