Jackass

A guest of the neighbors decide to park in my freshly shoveled driveway (don't know long he was there, caught a glimpse when I went to the kitchen for a beverage), how convenient, the neighbors (a-holes) never shovel, on his way out he decided to pull forward, don't know why, guess he didn't know about the 1 - 1.5 foot drop off. He had the nerve to ask me to help push him out (while he's spinning the tires and putting bigger ruts in my lawn and possibly damaging the concrete). He was also suggesting maybe using some of the lumber in my garage or asking if I had some tow straps, I pointed him to a shop down the street with a tow truck.

Before calling me the a-hole, here's is a small sampling, this is how they keep their trash, there's a couple of bags under the snow right now.

Hehehe...dumb ass...serves him right.

Unfortunately, probably do more damage to your driveway when they pull that back out. Make 'em tow it towards the right side there.

Re: Jackass

I'm sure you got his plate number so you can track him down and bill him for the damages. I'd charge him for shovelling the driveway and parking fees, too.

Yeah, help him out with your lumber and tow straps. Then fix your own driveway after the thaw and you can actually see the damage.
Chrissakes, did HE want a beverage as well?
Damn if I wouldn't have lowered his tire pressure with a scratch awl when he wasn't looking, just to keep his day interesting.

The snow from your lovely neighbors made it across the street?

Correct, the guy pushed it across the street (not a whole lot of places here to put snow, lots of variances given to the builder when these were built), I don't know if he didn't realize that there was no room for it (sidewalks real close to street). The plow guy's tailgate broke, it's so damn cold out everything is frozen solid and breaking easy, he was pissed.

Three cops for a pile of snow in the wrong place. Geeze, they must be really bored.

That kind of thing would NEVER have happened when Richard Joseph Daley was the mayor of Chicago.
Sending that many cop cars I mean. They would have sent only one car and the cop would have asked for cash before he did anything....

I'm thinking Mickey must be a little bored also! Is the missus out of town or what?
It is brutal cold here today, I haven't been outside but I've looked out the window a few times.
Gotta get some wood before dark.

hahaha, don't forget he probably would have sued for damages to his car if the borrowed tow straps broke and took out his window or scratched his paint job.. Or if the borrowed lumber would have scratched his rocker panels.. Gotta love some people..

He will probably sue anyhow because there were no signs there to warn of drop off.

They have a lot of cops in this town, last year they closed off the street when I pushed snow from the driveway into the street (during rush hour), so I could remove it, I think the mayor sent them (he and I don't get along). The Mayor actually sent a couple of cops over here telling me I couldn't bad mouth them to the building officials in the other town. We've been going back and forth for a while now, I've been looking for a new house, but when I leave I'm going to rent this one to some real nice people, I'm thinking of taking in Section 8 people. It's one thing after another at this place, I think it's cursed.
