Speedy, I do not race but love to watch. I have been to two NHRA races and loved it. I was planning on going this year but it fell on the wrong weekend.

Geeez I miss that stuff. Grew up in Southern California and hardly ever missed a weekend at Lions Drag Strip when I was kid...my mom loved it too. My dad paved the short lived Brothers track on Terminal Island (I don't think the thing lasted more than 6 months before going belly up). Brings back alot of fond memories. Did the sand drag thing for several years up at Pismo Beach with my Chevy powered Toyota. I really miss being a motor head.

Spent the weekend mountain biking in Fuita, the highlight was my wife and I crawling through the Fairy caves in Glenwood. I woke up sore as hell this morning from all the contortions I put my body through. Didn't feel too bad at the time, but man I'm getting old.

Back to real life again now.
