You got your fist period!

Did the first Dr even bother to ask how much or any detail? No way in hell I would pass blood and wait a month. Hopefully all is well, good luck.

Well, I could ask the obvious questions about your diet and the amounts of fiber, fruits, and veggies, but I'm hoping your doctor asked those questions already. If it's a matter of tearing, you need to be proactive and eat properly.

But there shouldn't be blood in your stool for no reason. I'd be alarmed too. I'm glad you got a second opinion.

People should not be ashamed to talk about health problems.

Please attempt to keep the comments on a professional level, as their is no room for levity when health is being considered.

Putting something off like this could be putting off the solution to a problem.

It may be minor, ie; internal or external hemoroids,

or it could signify something of greater risk.

Firstly, don't get alarmed.

If the blood is a deep blackish color, that can be more serious, indicating an internal problem. If it is more watery and light red or pinkish, then it probably is a result ov over straining your bowel movement or having one too large and hard.

For everyone out there. Do you take a blood thinner, cumadin or similar or an aspirin daily? The aspirin dosage may cause internal stomach ulcerations. But, the daily consumption of this several penny pill probably far out weighs the potential risks.

I think personal health would be a good thread to post any conditions going on and do not be shy or embarrased.

Defer to your knowledgeable Doctors opinion over any given on this board. You did the right thing by being proactive and doing something about it.

Drink more water, eat more fibre. Emphasis on the water.

Question

Re: It'll Bring You To Your Knees !!

Thats one good thing I can say is my diet is good , talk about mom telling you to eat your veggies , when we eat dinner my wife makes sure my dinner plate looks like a rainbow but all joking aside I do watch what i eat my diet is good , as far as the Drs. questions he went from a-z. he even had the other Dr to fax over all of my med. records over to him today, he called today and said the meds im on now shouldn't effect the problem i'm having now.

I think someone on this thread mentioned that maybe we can have some type of medical topic on this site , not so much for advice but just some place where guys can go vent about medical problems their having , the truth of the matter is most men dont like going to the doctors or we put it off until its to late ,maybe this way we might be able to encourge one another to go to the doctors and have things checked out, how about it ??? I think Nathan would be the one to go with this question, i'm not sure as to how to go about asking , maybe someone here can ??
