As noted, never stated at the outset. And no offense, J, but it struck me as a bit presumptuous to make the thread a sticky with the very first post. There have been other threads here just as worthy.

This just kinda tickled my funny bone for some reason - it is quite a contrast.

An archeological team, digging in Washington DC , has uncovered 230 year old bones and fossil remains of what is believed to be the first US Politician .

swimming lessons.jpg

This is the result of a major rain in july 99 and lightening taking out the power to the pumps in the pit. The pit is much larger then it looks in the photo, ( I had to crop to get it to load), the water came up this high in a few hours, and it took well over a month to pump it all out. I was working in this iron ore ( taconite ) pit at the time. This is one of several photos I took, I also have a video of it but its VHS and I have NO idea how to get that on here!

Saw this in the front yard of a house on my way home last weekend and snapped a quick pic:
I'm guessing you don't want to try trimming the limbs back on his trees...

Anyone remember the MASH show when "Hawkeye" won a jeep playing poker but received a howitzer.....
