I Don't Speak Canadian. Do You?
I just noticed this and it made me laugh. Try pronouncing that word. I can't.
![]() I'm also wondering if "carpentery" is fancier than the carpentry we do here in the states. ![]() If I could edit your profile for you, I would. I'm not busting on you...it's just funny that I never noticed it before and now I can't stop trying to pronounce that word!!!! ![]() It's all in good fun!

Re: I Don't Speak Canadian. Do You?
I like the multi-STOREY buildings.
And when an 18 wheeler has a wreck on the Port Man Bridge - they call it a semi accident (Rhymes with Dodge HEMI) So I always talk back at the radio..."what, you have half an accident?" |

Re: I Don't Speak Canadian. Do You?
Doh! ok, its a typo! two of them! LOL I will fix
I worked in the film industry for ten years (I got a pin! whoohoo!) started out there as a "scenic carpenter's helper" then I upgraded to a "scenic carpenter". Most of the time it was grind work- building the same thing for weeks on end. I sure do miss the checks though!! And if you need a bridge? You are in luck! I've got one, they're taking it down shortly!!!! (Port Man bridge) and we're getting a huge new one in its place. and the new one will have a toll!!!! how cool is that??? Never noticed the typo
But I can speak Canadian, just have to say Eh at the end of everything, and speak a little French. |
