Oh well, it was a nice vacation. I have to admit, you're tougher than me; I've fired up the generator during short power outages just to get my fix. No way I'd even try it with an Iphone. I need my internet big.

you only lost internet, i lost a whole damn computer and a whole bunch of data. I got complacent and had not backed up in four months when my motherboard started to get flaky. lost the motherboard a few weeks back , lucky to find an identical one on ebay. replaced it, it detected my raid array, i was good for an afternoon, So what did I do? i got greedy and tried to recover another raid array (pair of drives) i had trouble with a year ago that i had detached and put on the shelf as spares. And in the process broke my GOOD boot array. so now im on an old p2-350 using winme and firefox 2.0.0.20, No more raid-0 for me. twice the likelihood of losing a drive when one goes down. what to do what to do.??

RAID is GREAT if Speed of Data Retrieval is of the Utmost Importance.........Nothing like turning two six disk H/D's into one 12 disc H/D! (or the like)

Other than that, it is no more than a Techie Toy that will, more often than not, bite you in yer arse!!!!

Yes IN and NOT on!

Sorry you are subject to this dilemma!



GetMyDataBack or something similar to that name, is what I have used to 99.9 effectiveness concerning H/D Retrieval.

Downloads.Com... Free!

To do this correctly, you will need an External that is Larger than your Retrievable Data.
