Was only about a mile or two from here on Saturday.

Wasn't even raining or windy when we picked up the new Jeep.

They got hammered today.

Wife of one of our flooring subs works at that store. The guy who died was inside making sure everyone was out when the tornado came through. Sad story for sure.

I was going to say errant nose hair on the glass until I noticed it "glitches" at the 26 second mark and then even disappears by the end of the video...

So, I got nothing...

But aside from the "nose hair", did you see anything odd or out of place in this time lapse video?

They always show hurricanes in fast motion making them rotate. In reality they move like clouds do. Slow enough to look like they don't move unless you watch and wait.

They move a lot faster than normal clouds. You can watch the really low clouds scoot across the sky before they come. Even our normal summer squalls move pretty fast to where you can see them move.

Re: Hurricane Florence

I see clouds move all the time. But the hurricanes don't rotate like they show you most of the times. Those images are sped up to show you the rotation in more detail and to hype it up.

I though the thread was about Florence. But assuming the guy isn't on his knees he's not lying... Just standing on lower ground.

I believe they even had two weather-people, standing in the storm saying illegal aliens were afraid to go to the shelters for fear of being deported, even though ICE made it clear they would not be arresting anyone.

A few of us posted a few of the pictures showing how these people covering the storms exaggerate the storms. It was to prove they exaggerate/lie.

CNN is relentless in their lambasting Trump...even in the middle of a hurricane, where no lambasting was necessary.

I think Cooper stated during that shoot, he couldn't have gotten to the house behind him because he would have been up to his neck in water. Well, probably, if you stayed in the ditch but, if you walked on the street...you would have been fine..

That kind of nonsense belongs in another place around here.
