I watch it. The girl that was in the hospital did a really good job with the song she did night before last. Not good with the names. The show, in general, has been very disapointing to me this year. That being said, I think the girls are kicking a** this year.

Is it just me, or do the ones that sent home do way better with there swan songs? Last night was an exception with the black ( not sure what she is) girl. She was definitely having a tough time being eliminated.

Since AI was brought up, anyone else notice how Kara is acting toward Simon and how Simon seems to make an effort to ignore her? I had brought it up to my wife how Kara was sitting so close to Simon and there was such a gap between her and whoever was sitting on the other side of her. Wife thought I was being silly. Ryan asked Simon what he kept looking at off stage. Simon said it was his girlfriend. He's been doing a lot of looking in her direction for a few nights now. If he is not commenting on a performance, he is usually looking in the same direction as if trying not to look in Kara's direction.

Ryan even commented on this last night, I think. So I know I am not the only one that has noticed it.

Maybe it is an orchestrated controversy to rev up interest in the show which seems to be going downhill. It has a pretty good run so maybe a little scandal will revive interest for another year or two.

If Kara has the interest in Simon she seems to have and goes missing, I suggest looking under the table.

If that is inappropriate (last sentence), I understand if it removed.

I wonder if someone decides where the judges sit, ot if they just sit where they want to sit. Ellen is back in the middle and Randy is back on his end. Simon and Kara still where they pretty much always were. The first time I noticed a gap between Kara and the third judge, Ellen was the third (from the right).

Everyone watches for different reasons. I don't buy into all the drama. It's all about the music for me. There is an amazing pool of talent by the time they hit top 12. I like the fact that so many have other talents as well.

The show is **** and the people who win are **** and never make it anywhere or become "an idol" of any sort

Many contestants have gone on to get recording contracts through the show, win or lose. I'm sure they'de disagree with your statement.

Bo Bice, Chris Daughtry and David Cook come to mind, although that's just the tip of the iceberg. Carrie Underwood has done well for herself as well.

It is amazing what a transformation some go through from the start to the finish. I am sure there are plenty of advisors involved to bring thier full potential out.
