How Many Pets Do You Have?

We made sure to get a couple that were older, with the hope they would be out of the chewing stage and made sure they were ok being handled. Whitey likes to come in the house and watch Red Wing hockey with me. Amazingly the dog leaves them alone. He's only focused on us the only way he would hurt the rabbits is if he accidentally stepped on one. He'll trot after them in the backyard but usually they just ignore each other.

Well, one of them IS a bitch, in every sense of the word.

It's amazing what you find at the county shelter in need of a home.
These two little mutts are the best dogs anyone could ever want.

• 1 Siberian Husky - Winter
• 1 Beta Fighting Fish - Shiny (actually this is the 3rd shiny we've had. the kids think it keeps changing size and color)
• 1 hermit crab - Spidey (it came in a shell that had a spider web painted on it. Kids in our house seem to have wonderful naming skills)
• If you include those damn webkins, we have about 50 other pets but they make got chew toys for the dog so they are slowly disappearing .

1 black lab, 1 cat and 4 fish. Almost lost the lab a few ekks ago. Somehow slipped off his lead and got hit by a car. Vet bill $3,100. Just what I needed..start the year out in the hole. Oh well the dog is only a year old and well behaved. He seems to be healing good, but still have to take him back to the vets for his bandage change @ $50 a clip. I would change them myself, but it damn near ripped one of hir rear legs off and is real ugly.

8 sheep, Sealy (reminds me of a matress commercial) and Julia,Becky and her new twins as yet unnamed, Oscar, Mayer and Cutie.
Another lamb hangs in the garage awaiting further processing.

Abby is looking for a new home, one without grandchildren.

Trust me the Rabbits were not my idea. My two oldest kids show them for 4-H, plus the horses. I'd rather eat the rabbits than take care of them.

I used to raise rabbits for meat. Turned out I was the only one that enjoyed eating them.

Considering her disposition towards my grandchildren Abby is lucky I'm not of certain ethnic descent.

About 40-50 Koi & goldfish but I don't really consider them pets even though the kids have named them all. They do eat out of your hand so I guess they could be considered pets.

My wife has some horses stabled elsewhere as we don't have enough room for them. Upon visiting them one day, the farmer had 3 new pigs. My son who was like 5 at the time asked what the pigs names were. The farmer replied: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
