Horror Of WarQuote:
As for how George can interpret an empty ing post with a link to be construed as a fun and games attitude towards war is ing beyond me, I thought it was in line with the ing thread, uncensored war is hits home a little more than some of the other ing made for tv war marketing bs out there, I'v seen the ing horror of combat up close and personal, and find nothing ing fun or cute about it!!!

Re: Horror Of War
While I enjoy seeing vid clips of what our military has to offer in fire power, I have to say personally I have no intrest in seeing any type of killing be it up close and personal or from a distance. War is obviously nothing portrayed in Hollywood since we're shown acutal footage of real people that have families so the impact is totally different and literally turns my stomach. Having seen 2 clips of exectutions that is all I need to see, and yes if you have any concious it hits you hard, but I do not feel it pertains any relevance to what this forum is about or intended for. There are plenty of other sites that are dedicated to this nature of thing, bangedup.com, orgish.com, etc...if a person really wants to see this sort of thing.
I dont want to piss off anymore people than I have to, but with the board growing it's obvious the different idea's folks bring to the table as to what's permissable or not. Seeing death overseas on a contrator website is not why I joined. Coming from a military based family I respect every one of the men/women that protect our country and perform a great service, and I do not envy any that are in an actual war after hearing stories and seeing pictures first hand from buddies that have served their time in war as it's not pretty or cool. But links to that sort of activity are better left to boards that cater to that sort of thing, not a buildings trade website-yeah it hits home, but for personaly reasons I'd rather not seeing people get blown to bits or executed and I'm sure many are of the same feeling. |

I was very nieve and had no idea of how bad the world really was until the invention of this internet thing, and I have to say it exceeded any nightmarish thoughts I could've ever imagined, I'm just thankful to live in this great country even though we have the select few that have problems. Orgish: dude, your in for a treat but I tend to think bandgedup has some real gross things too, I cant even stand to go to those sights anymore, getting older and stomache just cant take it.
