Homies Kid Scared The Crap Outta Me!!!

Been working at a buddie house-windows, siding, sunroom, deck. Other day it was raingin so figured a great day for inside work and installing the replacement windows. Got to the one bedroom (was there all alone I thought), bringing in my tool bag, sawzall, insulation, etc...and setting it all one th bed, came back with the window frame and there's a friggin head sticking out from undeneath a comforter on the bed in between my tool bag and insulation bag He looked up and asked, "dude, you putt'n in windows today?" the 17 yr old son goes into school late and buddy did'nt tell me anybody was home

I jumped like a little school girl, did not expect to see a friggin head in bed LOL!!! Dont know how I missed not setting my tools/junk on him but everything went right around 'em LMAO!!!

Anybody else get unexpected scares like that?

Only time I ever screamed EEK and sounded like a chick screaming in a horro film was when some pals caught a 6' bullsnake and put him in a old truck tool box on the ground....I went to walk between the tool box and pole building and the dirty bastages did'nt have all of him in the box...his head and 2' of his body where out and he took a bite at me I screamed like a friggin girl and got made fun of for the rest of the year down there.

This job with the ninja sleeper I just flinched back and did the "jeezus c..., where'd you come from"

One that could have ended up badly was several years ago, we were loading 2 foot diameter culverts onto a trailer with forks on a backhoe..and not being that gentle...after I dropped the first one, I hear yelling and screaming...and a 5 year old was hiding inside. This was 4pm, we were on site all day, and never saw the kid before...he came from 3 houses away and thought it would be fun to crawl in one....

I hate homes with crawl spaces. Here, Black Widows and Fiddlebacks are pretty common but there is not much more fun than running into a large Eastern Diamondback or Cottonmouth in tight quarters. Oddly enough, I have yet to meet a gator there.

A funny story. We once hatched a plan to get even with some thieves. We went out and caught about a 4' gator, stuffed it into a suitcase and dropped it off where we knew these guys were working.

We sat back to watch.

That suitcase wasn't there 10 mins. when a 4 dr. sedan snatched it and took off down the street. It made it about 2 blocks when all 4 drs. flew open and 4 dudes were beating feet. Top ranked in one of the funniest things ever done.

I went to a house to give an estimate for a suspended ceiling in a basement years ago. I was let in by the teenage son who told me to go right on downstairs and measure. I went domnstairs walked around for a moment pulled out my tape and WOOF!.....I spun to see the family dog ears laid back and snarling. I backed up to the stairs and ran like a bat out of hell! Mom and Dad told their boy to let me in...AND to make sure they put the family German Shepard out back before I arrived! I guess he was too busy watching TV. They nevr did get their estimate....Hmmm I wonder if they still need a ceiling?..Hmmm

I've had 2 German Shepards, both spayed females and the sweetest, smartest dogs on the planet but if they didn't know you GGRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Same with my Rott's, well Rott now biggest friggin babies in the world, and heaven help us anybody breaks in, they'd get licked to death...the way they act when either old freinds or new stop by they act like we never give them any attention

Since moving to this new neighborhood all the little neighborhood kids love to come and play with my daughter and "Jack", they all think it's funny having a dog bigger than them chase them around and lick them.
