I built some fireplaces on Blixseth's personal property in Rancho Mirage.He had traded 20 acres in an environmentally sensitive area to the federal government in exchange for 640 acres of government land in a prime cove location.Built his own golf course complete with lakes,streams,and guest homes.Supposedly at least at the time he was the largest land owner in the country.
