I'll contribute $500 towards the outfitting, or otherwise supporting, of any ContractorTalk 'regular' that winds up making the show's production cut. Go for it guys!

Glasshouse Bob is a shoo-in for the crew. Now THAT would be entertainment.

Isn't that age discrimination? I'm calling the AARP!
Who's more believeable? Some still wet behind the ears 25 yr. old or some weatherbeaten old dude who looks like he's been around the block more than a few times?
Ever see the guy on HGTV that builds stuff and forgets that it has to fit through the door? "Looks like we have a little setback" says the crewleader. "Moron." says me.

I'd be asking salary first and foremost if I was given a shot at an interview. Many of these shows are done on a shoe string budget for the crew so knowing what'd I'd be waling awat from for a year would be a HUGE consideration, even though it'd be cool to say- "that's me, that's me" and it may pan out to more future work....would be a heartfelt gamble that's for sure.

They'd probably pick some young 20 something that's eye candy for the camera with no common sense or clue as to one of us ugly mugs

That's my goal. I'm not really serious about persuing this but hey, one half day of my life cooped up in a room woth other contractors my age. I might make some connections at worst case scenario.

Wouldn't that just take the cake? A joint venture perhaps - Masterstrokes, Tresurehoard and Pondman I'd pay admission to see that show.

I'm going with Chris on this one. They could call it 'Bob the Builder', yea, that's the ticket. A 1/2 hr. of Bob sitting in his shop and yucking it up on this site, close-ups and everything.
