The armed forces is following procedure. The contract was awarded to the lowest bidder. The winning bidder put the work out for bid and hired the lowest bidding 30-40 sub-contractors, the subs then put the work out for bid for the lowest bidders (so to speak) and hired 200 or more illegals.

If you don't like it then vote against the a-holes that don't support a strong stance against illegals. Colorado just passed 17 new laws closing loop holes and making it harder for employers to hire illegals and get away with it. I'm thankful Colorado has Tom Tancredo representing us.

Our government is ! We spend billions of dollars a year hiring people to do jobs that they can't even describe. We can't hire one or two people to check visas on a government job site?? That's is utterly ridiculous and sounds like an outright lie to me...

Ever work at a school? They background check everyone for child abuse, etc and issue ID's before you can walk on the grounds. Have NO idea what was up with that contractor, 'cept he is from Texas.... nothing against Texans but, it's real close to the river.

Re: Help Wanted 120 Guys Of All Levels Of Experience!!!! ASAP

They had a crackdown here a while back but it came in sort of an oblique way. The neighbors in a town not too far away complained about too many people being in and around this cheap motel. The cops came in and found that most of them were living there, up to 12 to a room. Their ID's weren't working out so the locals called in INS and they hauled most of them off.

Monday morning a GC (working on a low-income housing project) had an acute labor shortage. They tracked him down too and a good time was had by all. It made for good reading in the paper for a few weeks.

I've got the drawings they sent to me and the specifications. They are looking for 1 - 4 crews (3-4 each crew) to frame duplex units. I believe there are 118 units total so 59 buildings. They are looking at framing (dried in) in 4 weeks per duplex. Labor only - they are providing all materials. They are also doing all the concrete. Trusses for 90% of it - and a little bit of overframing. Most are the same plan with either a shed roof or a gable roof. JJHenderson is the GC out of Illinois. They are being built at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, MT. I'll PM the contact to you.
