Help Wanted 120 Guys Of All Levels Of Experience!!!! ASAP

Just wanted to help out where I can. Seems a home building development here in Denver is going to be in dire need of labor. They are building a couple hundred homes on government contract at Buckley Air Base and have a bad labor shortage. Seems immigration paid them a visit yesterday and cuffed up 120 workers. 98 of em are on a bus back to Mexico as you read this, 12 had felony warrants and the rest are pending investigation of their origin.

They might actually need even more guys, since apparently about another 60 guys got sick between the raid and this morning and couldn't show up for work today.

The GC is out of El Paso Texas, but you can probably just contact any site foreman for an application.

I don't expect any of them were electricians. I've never really seen an illegal alien electrician, but I suppose there are a few.

More than a few MD. Of course the term electrician might be questioned, but one will run wires, one will "specialize" in connecting the panel, one will be the kitchen specialist....etc etc.

Then Mr. white guy comes in and does a quick check out and the walls get covered. At least that is the trend here right now?

GC's contract should be pulled, then he goes to jail, then the illegals can come back and work as much as they want after legalizing.

The only place I don't mind illegals working is at "Taco Taco Taco Burrito" carry out joint. They make a burrito as big as your head.

I haven't read the article yet so forgive my ignorance... I just heard a quick blurb on the radio this morning.

Is this a military housing complex? Was said Texan contractor hired by the United States Armed Forces or our government? Or was the base only mentioned as the nearest landmark?

It's interesting that they could get on base. Every time I go on base down here they turn me upside down and shake me a few times. Our master electrician is not allowed on base because of a ccain conviction.

There is another military housing project in Great Falls, MT that is getting underway. Apparently they are in a labor shortage as well. Not due to illegal labor but because the local carpenters union couldn't provide all the necessary manpower. They contacted me through my website. I've just got too much going on at home to have to travel.
The first batch of military housing (over a year ago) was won by my former employer Hensel Phelps - 350 million.

Last time I worked on a base, was Dover AFB... I was required to show insurance on my truck even, and they went under it with mirrors.. how on earth did illegals get IN a base?

This really makes me smile after a (^_*( week. It's across the USA you'll see this happen more and more now. Here in the NoVa area the war is on. They're shutting down day labor camps every day, and chasing them from wherever they go.
The "for illegals" protests have been dropping in numbers by the thousands lately, and the Alipac rally's, and such have been gaining in numbers.
I love it.
New laws against illegals are making it through the channels much easier now. But they're still trying to get a form of amnesty in return. "working toward citizenship". Ha, Go home and "work toward" getting your papers.

The Feds just had a round-up in PA this week. They got 115 illegals. 12 had criminal convictions. The rest were over on their visa's and had been ordered deported but skipped out.

I like seeing our laws enforced. I hope it continues after the November election. Even if we can't get them all we at least need to show we are trying so they have to worry about being caught as opposed to walking around doing whatever and demonstrating in our streets.

They were adjacent to the base. The development is adjacent to the base but right now seperated by a fence, when it is done the fence is to come down and a new fence to be built around it to swallow it up into the base.

Interesting that the bust was justified only because of Homeland Security issues of them being too close to the base and posing a security risk was the reason the investigation was initiated. I don't like that they have to come up with an excuse calling on HLS in order to bust illegals, but I'll take deportations any way I can get em.

I haven't seen yet if they are going after the GC criminally yet. I sure hope they do.

I am not trying to start an argument like the one we had when this happened to Wal-Mart, but why isn't any one talking about that fact that The United States Armed Services hired 120 illegal aliens?

And furthermore what the hell was this contractor thinking hiring them for a government contract in the first place?

Would it be unhumane if you pinged em in the head with an invisible dye that would show up under some kind of lighting that could be shined on them? Be pretty sweet to drive by a construction site with one of these beams and the right goggles on, it might look like a Florida swamp at night when you shine a light into the marsh and get all the aligator eyes reflecting back at you!
