Hazing
There has been quite a stink recently in Maine (my home state) about a possible hazing incident at the UMaine. Softball players have pictures on the internet in what they say
"the softball team apparently drinking alcohol and making lewd gestures while dressed in outrageous costumes." now this might be found to be true, who knows right now, but this guy has nothing better to do with his life except to peruse the internet looking for such scandalous actions and post them on his website. Now he says the UMaine is ignoring what he said, so he's going public and making statements that are assumptions. What exactly is defined as hazing? Well, what this guy seems to be saying is that someone dressed up funny and maybe drinking alcohol "THAT'S HAZING....RIGHT THERE! SEE? HOW DARE THEY!" now I don't want to make hazing out to be something that shouldn't be taken care of, but there is a point to bonding of teammates, showing them humility, and just downright having some harmless fun. Did this happen, is it hazing? who knows, but I ain't gonna say if it is or not.....because the facts aren't all in. This guy seems to think he has the answer. ncaahazing.com the story in our wicked big local newspaper http://www.bangordailynews.com/news/...287&zoneid=500

Re: Hazing
Sounds like a regular night in any college town. Kids drinking until they're stupid drunk, then doing stupid things.
