Re: Happy Belated April Fools Day!!

Well I guess I'll start. Because April 1st fell on Saturday and I wasn't on the job site, I missed out on a lot of fun. So basically made a few phone calls to mess people up. Phoned my landlord and told him there was 4 inches of water in the basement. Had him going for about ten minutes discussing our options to deal with it and then said "Got You." He was a little ticked off but laughed.

I phoned my boss and told him I got nailed for DUI on Friday night and that he had to come bail me out. Discussed the fact that he would have to come pick me up every morning to get to work. Also had him going for about ten minutes and then "Got You." Gotta love when your boss calls you a "*****ing *sshole".

Made a couple other calls but I want to see if you guys had any fun???

I guess I'm owning this thread, and the rest of you are boring pooh pooh heads (talking as a mature 40 year old)!!! Well maybe not that mature!!!

On this past Friday had the joy of having to put on all the rubber cove base in the store I'm building right now!! I use a hot glue gun to do my outside corners. We had HVAC guys and electricians working for us that day. They all went for lunch and when they came back they put on their tool belts and what a shock, they had a hard time getting their tools out of their belts!!!! I love glue guns !! Not only my boss calls me names but our sub trades as well... Life is fun!!! A little early April fools joke on the guys!!!

Re: Happy Belated April Fools Day!!

My wife got me outta bed saying our lil boy was not breathing. Raced downstairs to him laying face down not moving. Flipped him over and he was warm, and his eyes moved a tad. I knew he was not dead, but I was still freaked out. All my other kids were in on the joke and played it well. Same with my Mom in law.
Then they all yelled April fools.

It may seem kind of a rough joke, but I was hooked in. They did a great job, and I applauded them for it.

Later, we went for a limo ride with friends. We announced the pregnancy to all our friends. We have 3 kids and always said it was rough to raise 3. At least it was rough for us. So when they heard the 4th was on the way, they pretty much thought our marriage was over.

APRIL FOOLS!
