Re: Happy B-day Nikola Tesla

Have you been to the see the Tesla coil at the American Museum of Radio and Electricity in Bellingham?

When I get a chance I want to take my son up there to see it.

Tesla was truly a fascinating guy, I read a couple books about him some twenty years ago.

Thanks Wallmax for posting that.

Andy.

Wallmax,
Thanks for the link. I thouroughly enjoyed it!
The sad fact is ,I hadn't heard of Tesla 10 years ago. How can someone that has contributed so much to our standard of living not get the proper credit. It's strange to say the least. His name should be as well known as Einstein, or Davinci.

I heard about him in the 10th grade in Canada - they only talked about his Tesla Coil.

I have read a couple of biographies - he was truly a genius. He was quoted as saying that he "saw" three phase before he designed a way to invent it's harnessing.

It is his initial work on resonance that is the foundation of sub-space energy applications. Some of today's far reaching theoretical physicists postulate that every bit of matter and all waves in the universe are resonating. Therefore, if we can develop a way, through some form of induction, to cause this resonance to power a device that would convert that energy into a form we could use - we would have infinite FREE power.

That was Tesla's absolute goal. He was stopped because if you give it away - the power broker's can't get money for it and can't control it.
