The Great Movie Thread

How about sounding off on some of the better movies you've seen lately.

I just watched 12 Monkeys again last night. I know it's getting a little old but man I like that flick.

Another good one, but much older, 81 I think, is The Wind and The Lion with Sean Conery.

And you?

Bob

An Affair to Remember. I like all of them, remakes, as well.

I really love the modern-day version with Annette Benning and Warren Beatty.

Kind of a 'chick-flick'.... .....I know....I know....

The Jackal is I think my all time favorite movie. I also like Collateral. In case you dont see a trend here... I like guns and movies with shooting in them.

Second Shawshank

Recently viewed one of my fav's is Cash. I also really liked the 40 year old virgin. Though I wouldnt classify that as being a great classic anytime soon.

Peter Falk after a near miss with a truck "I'm such a great driver, sometimes I surprise myself......I can't believe they took my license"

I love old movies. All John Wayne movies rock. My favorite non Wayne movie is probably 12 angry men.

Re: The Great Movie Thread

Shawshank #1 (there have been some great ones but this is the best ever for me), Titanic #2 (great production and decent story line) and #3 Dumb and Dumber (some of the scenes in that one kill me). The Austin Powers movies were good too. I love the line "Tastes a little nutty?"
