Re: Gold Panning

I have done a little panning, you should be able to condense the gold a little more just using the pan.

You could do this in the back yard, just put in a scoop with a bit of water and swirl the concentrate carefully. You can pick up a pan with riffles to help. It takes a while but is the best way short of an acid bath.
You will be left with gold and black sand mostly then use a water bottle with a little squirt attachment to clean up further.

Andy.

Re: Gold Panning

You need a small sluice box, a plunger magnet and a snuffer bottle. Like this one for $44

A terrific combination of the Mini-Sluice and the Deluxe Clean Up Kit, (14" Gold Catcher Pan, 10" Black Clean-up Pan, Sharpnosed Tweezers, a vial and Mini Pouch for your GOLD), a handy plunger magnet and a #20 mesh bowl screen all at a nice ($44.95) discounted price

A ripple tray shaker table works great too, but they are pricey.
