"give Him The Tazer!"

I saw part of this on the news. This shows almost all of the parts leading up to the tazing. Man, the coppers messed up this time. They'll prolly get their pants sued off them.

I'm not sure he deserved to be tasered, but he sure was irritating.

Re: "give Him The Tazer!"

This guy is a first class idiot, it was a staged event for his you tube videos, he does stupid crap like this all the time and unfortunately he'll probably be rewarded for his bad behavior with fame and fortune. He should be tasered a few more times for bad acting and whining like a baby. The only thing to be thankful for as that it involves all liberals, Meyer (the punk), Kerry and a liberal University, could you imagine if it was a conservative speaker, some idiots are already making comparisons to Nazi Germany.

Here are a few quotes from his website:

Quote:
" I pissed off Ken Griffey, Jr. Before I explain how, let me repeat that for a second: I pissed off Ken Griffey, Jr. So here's what happened:"

" Now, you have to know this about me: I am huge Marlins fan, and a born heckler."

http://www.freewebs.com/newforum/bio...nalstories.htm
So we have someone that enjoys aggravating people and is a "born heckler", this is what he does, and finally someone has decided not to put up with his childish behavior.

Now if you look for and watch the full video what you will see is someone that runs up to the microphone and grabs it after the Q and A was over. Then he starts shouting his diatribe not asking questions, at the end of his statement containing things like "blowjob", he asked a three-part question. After his foul mouthed and rude disruption the police went to remove him he became combative and ran in the direction of a US Senator, a security threat. The police have no idea who this idiot is or if he may have a weapon on his person. When they did get a hold of him he wrestled with them and resisted arrest, he appears to be considerably larger than the officers. And unless you have wrestled with someone that doesn't want to be taken into custody don't assume it would be easy to do so without seriously injury the person, try it with some friends, you'll see. You can clearly see in the video that he WAS NOT in handcuffs when he was tasered the first time, I'm not sure about the second time, but someone in handcuffs can still put up a fight. He's lucky they used the tasers instead of night sticks or broke his arms.

God help this country if he's representative of the future generation.

I'm not going to watch it a second time to actually count the number of police officers but if 4-5 cops can't put handcuffs on a jackass then they need some training. There is no way that their S.O.P.'s allow to to use that force.

That's why they tasered him, it's not as easy as one would think to put handcuffs on someone when they are fighting without really hurting them (take my word for it, I know or try it with four of your friends). They could have cracked him real hard with a night stick and quickly brought him under control but they chose a less harmful method. As far as SOP, that was a perfect scenario for the use of a taser, they just didn't use it enough as far as I'm concerned. How do they know he's not a nut job like the idiot at Virginia Tech.

Yes...God help this country - Freedom of Speech.
Sure the guy is a major annoyance and a-hole ...but:
- couldn't the mic have simply been shut off?
- If the Q & A was over, why was Kerry still on stage?
- Why did Kerry even attempt to respond?
- Why did Kerry answer the question even AFTER the guys was taz'ed?

IMO, he deserved it. When the cops are trying to escort you out and you are resisting, you get what you get. He clearly was resisting and he got tasered as a non lethal way to be subdued.

Insurance companies shell out good money for electro shock therapy for the treatment of certain mental defects. He got this treatment free of charge. He should be happy.

I didn't know until after, the same as the cops, all they knew was a nut job who could have had a weapon was yelling a bunch of crap and using foul language and when asked to stop, he continued, when approached to be escourted out he ran in the direction of Sen. Kerry and then became combative and resisted the police.

You need to learn about Freedom of Speech, it's not absolute and it does not give you the right to yell and use foul language. Go yell fire in a theatre and tell me about your freedom of speech from your jail cell.

Once again, ask Kerry, although I'm curious what his response was to the idiots statement about Clinton be impeached for a "blow job".

There is no right to cause a disturbance by yelling and using foul language and there is no right to resist arrest.

I am with Celtic on this one. I have had my life on the line to defend the constitution of this country. So if that idiot wants to open his mouth, let him speak the same way any one of us should have that same right.

Re: "give Him The Tazer!"

God forbid one day one of you should actually have an opinion. Make sure you post YOUR "I got tasered" video on the tube so I can enjoy it

It's called "freedom of speech" ladies.

Now he'll sue, win a big settlement and you guys can get a tad more comfortable with the idea of living in a "free" society.

Do you not understand, he wasn't asking a question, he was yelling and using foul language, this is what he does, he creates disturbances and video tapes them, it was staged, no where in the Constitution will you see you can create a disturbance and use foul language. If I was in your house and did what he did you'd throw my ass out the door and wouldn't be to concerned about my Freedom of Speech rights. You guys really need to read up on the First Amendment.

How familiar are you with the constitution? Have you ever defended it? How important is it to you? Are you a vet, have you served?

Yes, I would and I'd probably slap him for being and idiot. Next thing you'll be calling this idiot a patriotic hero. He's a foul mouthed idiot who resisted arrest and was tasered into submission while crying like a little girl, period.

Re: "give Him The Tazer!"

I agree with mikeyco on this one-
First of all, he was suppose to ask a question, whereas he was rambling, and when someone told him to get to the point, he told them off.

second, that is a clear case of resisting arrest, and it is occurring in a room with a US senator and former presidential candidate, so he is seen as a security threat.

as for Kerry answering his question, Kerry stated that it was a very important question, so he was going to answer it. I saw it as he was saying that the guy that said it was an idiot, but it brings up a good point that he would like to address.

The video does bring up one important thing... it's a prime example of a person getting tasered.

Re: "give Him The Tazer!"

Those cops need some serious subject control training, they should have flex cuffed his arms and ankles and just carried or dragged him out. I'm sure they had metal detectors on the way in so him having any serious weapon was pretty slim. You need to seperate the perp from the crowd quick fast and in a hurry.
