I don't know how far along Ach'mini'dinijad (hey, I attempted it) really is with his nuclear capabilities, - - but yes, - - I believe you are absolutely 100% correct, - - if he does have any such capability, - - August 22nd WILL BE THE DAY!!

If MY FINGER was on the BUTTON, - - he'd get his chance for 'martyrdom' on August 21st, - - if not SOONER!!

P.S. With my pinky 'extended', of course, - - wouldn't wanna offend anybody!!

Whether or not one concerns oneself with the question of Iran's capacity to act on its expressed intentions, I think it foolhardy to ignore the mere fact that such intentions are expressed. Afterall, one shouldn't be surprised when the barking mad dog bites one in the ...

Man, I was watching the Dateline thing last night, but I was bouncing with Mike Wallace's interview with Ahmajenedad (whatever). INCREDIBLE interview. Wallace really wore him out.

Mike Wallace is a washed up moron. One can only imagine a journalist of the WW2 era asking Hitler what he thought of Roosevelt or Churchill. Wallace might as well sign-up for service on the Islamo-nut propaganda team. Why any American network would offer itself as a venue for the promotion of the kind of worldview embraced by that a sick bastard is beyond me.

My concern stems from my impression that fewer and fewer seem willing to do so; that too many of my own neighbors seem unwilling to place their own interests before those who pledge their lives to our deaths and the deaths of our children.

If the notion that our overwhelming force will deter the enemy's action is letting you rest easy at night, consider that an enemy that welcomes martydom isn't detterred by such tactics. ...Did you watch it? It was actually a good interview. I don't like softballs, he let him have it. Made him stay on point when he rambled about Jew/US killing innocent Iraqi's,etc. The Iranian leader came off looking foolish and evil, and slightly intimidated by Mike Wallace, as funny as that is. I bet you can find it on NBC's website somewhere, worth the time to watch imo.

Did you hear the Mike Wallace Interview with Sean Hannity. He fell for Ahmadinejad's lies "hook line and sinker". He believed everything that nut job told him. Mike thinks Ahmadinejad is "very sincere" and "just wants peace". Mike is a Moron.

Ahmadinejad doesn't have the bomb yet, but he'll use it when he gets it. He'll hit Isreal and then Isreal and the U.S will have to respond.

I really think Ahmadinejad knew about this "aborted" terrorist plot to blow up these planes and that it was probably going to be on the 22nd as a morale boost for his Muslim Fanatics.

The "big" August 22nd event will be in a few years if we don't take out Iran first. Sign me up.

I think the whole time he was "spinning" Mike Wallace he was laughing inside because he knew a few days after the interview would "air" that these planes would be falling out of the sky. What a disappointment it must have been for hiim that the plot was derailed.

In regard to Iran and nukes, does anyone consider that Israel possibly could be letting diplomacy run its course, all the while taking a wait and see approach. The end game being they consider the option of surgical strikes against Iran's nuclear program if it gets to a point where they actually might be close to fruition? I would consider it to be very curious if Israel would actually sit back and let Iran go nuclear.

I hope that is what the plan is, but I think there will have to be a change of leadership in Isreal. Right now Olmert and his cabinet are very liberal and could not even decide to authorize a massive invasion of lebanon to cripple Hez Bull La. They had to be "dragged" into even a small invasion. I'm affraid that if it was proven tomorrow that Iran was one month from the bomb that Isreal would hesitate too long and either we would have to invade or Iran would get the Nuke.

Iran is already "celebrating" their victory in Lebanon against Isreal. See link below
