I just watched that video. How is it possibly that any jury could convict a man of doing this much less the police/da suspect a man. Just from what I saw:

1. Leg and lower torso completely eaten - Even if she was tiny that has to be a good 25-30 lbs of meat.
2. Tufts of fur all over the camp - Most human hair is remarkably different than fur from a bear.
3. 6 Inch deep bite wounds - Show me a human that can make 6 inch deep puncture wounds with their teeth.
4. Claw marks all over the tree - One glance tells me that was no man's fingernails making those marks in the tree bark.
5. Half eaten fish - Sure looked like a bear claw through the center of that salmon
6. Feces all over the camp - I guess if you eat 25-30 lbs of meat at a single serving your going to have to take a dump.
7. Last photograph taken with 2 bear cubs - Yeah and mama bear came around to find her cubs and was pissed.
8. Claw marks in the tent - Missed those but they sure do look like a bears unless the guy took the time to cut matching slits in the tent with a knife while trying to sneak up on someone to kill and eat them.

Poor guy served 12 years! WTF!

Another thing - did you hear at the end that the police state they are going to re-open the case and "find the black MAN that did this" - I know one part of Georgia I will never be going to..

Seems like there was overwelming evidence of a bear attack. Wonder if the law is gone march that bear into court soon to face the charges?
