Forum Moderators - A Special Breed

My hat is off to the folks that moderate these forums. It takes patience and diplomacy to both respond, or otherwise forego responding, to the various tone and content that threads take on from from time to time. IMO, the moderators here at CT act with exceptional discretion and decorum. Nathan and his crew do a great job of making CT a welcoming and accomodating site.

That being said, I've never had an affinity towards practicing either patience, diplomacy, discretion or decorum, and if I'd been a little smarter I would have read the definition of 'moderate' before I offered to take on the role of 'moderator'. As such I've tendered my resignation from the moderator's "circle of trust" here at CT. That way, when I feel like someone's post is pis@*ng on my shoes I won't feel obliged to pretend like it's raining.

My thanks go out to anyone that may have offered words of apprceiation or encouragement during my brief role as a moderator. See you 'round the forums.
