The Eye Of The Storm

3 weeks ago, Monday and Tuesday I didn't have a thing to do. Everything was busy for weeks, 10 hour days, then those two days came and I literally had nothing to do. I made some phone calls stayed longer than usual on job sites then would go home out of boredom.

Wednesday came and a mad rush of phone calls, e-mails and new estimates came in which was pleasing to me. Thursday came and we had horrendous rains from Thursday until Saturday. We still havent caught up from that point.

I realize now we went from busy to nothing to super busy. That two day period of calm we had 3 weeks ago was just the eye of the storm. Calm and peacful.

Now I only have time for things in my personal life that are absolutely necessary. I don't have time to wash my clothes until I run out of clean clothes. I don't have time to wash my dishes until I can no longer find a clean plate or fork. I looked at my condo yesterday and thought to myself how badly I needed to clean.

I just want those two days of sanity back!

Well its got to be great to be so busy, you'll have enough for a third home soon!

BTW, I'm glad to hear that posting on this board is more important than washing your clothes! LOL
