Dry Wall Installer Finds Grenade In Wall![]() LAPORTE, Ind. - A worker tearing out drywall found a hand grenade inside the wall of a home being remodeled in LaPorte. Police Capt. Larry Sheets says the grenade appears to be live, but officers won't know for sure until it can be X-rayed. Sheets says the grenade is an older style, but he isn't sure how old it is. The home's owner called police Monday after a worker found the grenade. The street was blocked off nearby until the northwest Indiana city's bomb squad took possession of the device. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/c...,6416965.story |
