Dry wall installer finds grenade in wall - Contractor Talk - Professional Construction and Remodeling Forum

LAPORTE, Ind. - A worker tearing out drywall found a hand grenade inside the wall of a home being remodeled in LaPorte.

Police Capt. Larry Sheets says the grenade appears to be live, but officers won't know for sure until it can be X-rayed.

Sheets says the grenade is an older style, but he isn't sure how old it is.

The home's owner called police Monday after a worker found the grenade. The street was blocked off nearby until the northwest Indiana city's bomb squad took possession of the device.

X-rayed? WTF, over? Just unscrew the friggin' head and remove the blasting tube. It ain't rocket science.

The guy hanging drywall on the job today was from Granada.

The dummy should have shut his mouth & put that in his pocket. You never know when you might need a grenade.
