hey fellow Contractors and subs with cheese, do any of you believe the world will end in 2012? because of the 10th or 12th planet will pass by earth and cause problems? apparently it will cause floods, earthquakes, volcano eruptions, plagues, and apparently also there is Giants that live on that planet to they are going to jump off and destroy ours, now i heard this from a so called friend of mine who is spooked by being brained washed by the internet media, if its not youtube its CNN so no matter what someone is going to be brained washed......................now my questions is, should i double up or quadruple up my beams when building and use plastic 2x6 for studs for flexable sway homes, or should i use the 12" rubber between floors and the exterior build out of ELK decking since i did the test my self, it stood up to the blow torch for over a min and only got chared

I've survived 5 or 6 "end of the worlds", the earliest being 1978 or so. The world will end sometime but as far as 2012 i will just go about my business as usual. Now as far as my personal age and health, i will be happy to see 2012, 2013 would even be better.

well I used to think it was all hype but now I'm not so sure!
The latest earthquake shook the Earth off it's axis by part of a degree,
this oil spill, flooding, and storms. We are going to have a severe shortage and possibly extinction of some species of sea life. The world is almost in financial ruins so who knows what could happen. I guess oonly time will tell. A friend of mine is a real believer and is planning a big party at his place on the eave of the date, that way we will all be together if it ends.

I heard this all had something to do w/ the sun. First I ever heard of giants invading though.

I am however pretty confident that it won't end on december 21, 2012. So much so that I'm willing to make a wager. I'll bet $1,000,000 that the world doesn't end on this date. Any takers?
