There has been talk about illegals on the gun boards for a few years now before 9/11. And also in the local construction area for the last ten years and probably a lot longer in border states. Now that the office types thought that there would always be a job in construction are finding out the truth. I tried fighting it then and will continue but it has worsened. Before you know it competing contractor's will implode.

Is it possible that it is to late?

Never too late, but who's listening? I'm with you, I'll keep up the fight as useless as it may seem but somethings gotta/gonna happen sooner or later. At the demonstration we were escorted away from the rally because the proper permits weren't pulled for a demonstration opposing the demonstration. They were right so we left. But it seems the efforts are being put toward an acceptance of them now that the proposals are having difficulties. I need to look up the immigration law from 1965 which opened up this onslaught.
