Did Somebody Say Turkey?

OK, here's where it stands, I filled a pot with water and small hickory blocks. I added lemon pepper to the block soup and put it on to simmer most the night. Same thing with a butterball except no simmer. At 5 in the morning I'm going to fire up the butterball on a grill full of seasoned hickory..........man I'm getting hungry!

Hell with the sides, just let me hit the bird!

Re: Did Somebody Say Turkey?

We have been inundated with peacocks, they're a little smaller than our wild turkeys. I read that peahens are supposed to be good, anybody have any recipes?

I might clean it like any other fowl, put it in a sea-salt brine for 4-6 hours (or overnite) and cook over charcoal.
