Re: Date Night

We saw it last weekend. I was disappointed too. The movie was okay, but it came to an abrupt end that left us hanging.

Re: Date Night

That's because the end is almost at hand and they decided to split the last book into 2 movies. Not surprising.

No. But now I have to wait a long time to see the rest of the story.

Re: Date Night

That is a good idea. I have picked them up at the good will (cheap). It is something different to listen to while working.

I listen to a lot of audiobooks at work. If you can't find it at goodwill check your local library.

Re: Date Night

then I have to remember to return them. I would rather just buy something cheap and redonate them when I get around to it.

Re: Date Night

We have teenagers that have no interest in reading. Sad isn't it? The baby, however, just loves books. She discovered them at about 6 mos. old. I had to go buy a bunch of those hard page books because we got tired of reading the same things over and over.

Re: Date Night

Maybe they just don't have an interest in books. Most of my reading is done online, or trade magazines. The only time I read a novel is on vacation.

I think print media is on the way out. I'd be much more inclined to read a new Stephen King novel if I could download it and read it on my computer.

Enjoy them. My oldest is 21. Seems like last week I was teaching her how to ride a bike.

Same here. I use to love to read. Now it's a time issue. I'll listen to stuff on tape or CD because I can do that while I am doing other things.
