Daredevil's Luck Runs Out.

I guess the footwear failed him, or the window washers were derelict. Graphic.

Re: Daredevil's Luck Runs Out.

I saw it this morning and saw a different one yesterday. Dude was doing pullups off the side of a bridge and ran out of gas.

His butt.

Ends up life & death was a difference of one pull up!

I find it very sad that someone didn't value their life more than that.

Re: Daredevil's Luck Runs Out.

He did not die from the fall or the pull-up.

It was that awful sudden stop.

He wasn't scared can tell you that. Your brain shuts down in panic situations and puts you out.

Re: Daredevil's Luck Runs Out.

That wasn't very many pull ups for someone who does that. It seems like you would want to know you were good for 100 or so before dangling yourself over the side.

That's the first thing I thought. But we have no way of knowing whether he suddenly got a muscle cramp, the morning burrito caught up with him or what. All I know is, I wouldn't be trying that 20' up.

Re: Daredevil's Luck Runs Out.

Judging by his other vids (300+ climbs, supposedly), he had a brain cramp.

He was probably desperate for wiebo "content".

So one failure out of 300. That's not so bad.

Damn. Tough watch.

Some of those kids amaze me. I'm pretty alright with heights. I'll walk to the edge and look down, but I can never shake the fear cramping/spasms enough to allow me to free climb like these guys do.

As long as he didn't reproduce before this, the species will be better off.

Watching the video posted above. It looks like a pull up might be much harder gripping the top of a ledge with your body against the wall.

Re: Daredevil's Luck Runs Out.

Saw that yesterday, and it seemed to me that he was never fully convinced it was a great idea. Seemed real hesitant, not confident. Even looks like he paused briefly before trying that last pull up. Clear finalist for a Darwin Award whatever the case.
