Looks like fun -
I would also take a lower cabin in the center of the ship close to a stairway along with a good book and my own inflatable vest (plus a few flares) in addition to the supplied vest with a back neck support.

The fact that the Coast Guard is present says there there was a issue present with that vessel. Most likely a poss of steerage or power.
