I have whats known in the medical field as "Curly Toe". This is when the ring toe is sideways and lays under the middle toe. And yes, it does get painfull as you are always walking on the side of your toe. Something thousands of people get used to.

Recently mine started to crack real bad. The skin had split and I could not walk on it at all. I tried athletes foot spray, baby oil, skin lotion, neosporin, and even some weird cream. Nothing worked. I thought just to get it amputated. Then I found this stuff called "Blue Goo".

Man this stuff worked overnight! Its an Emu oil cream. Cost about 1.50 for a small jar. If anyone has trouble with cracked and bleeding skin try this stuff, worked wonders for me.

Where did you get it? I had an 'accident' years ago with third degree burns to my feet. They crack and bleed all the time.

I always soak it in cider.

Geez, that must be like walking around with a big rock stuck in your shoe.
Can't they just break it then reset it so it sits somewhat flat? Seriously???

What it is is the tenon is too tight on one side. They can cut the tenon and stretch the toe out and hope, yes, hope the tennon grows enough to join back together.
