Cold Glass Of Water

Doing a roof job years back, it was about lunch and hot as hell. The fellas asked me if they could take lunch.

I said "Come on guys we are dam near done, lets rap it up." Mike said "Dam Bob I'm hungry as hell." Without really thinking I told him to jump down and get a cold glass of water. Everybody said "screw you!" and we all laughed

It was a long way to town but I let them take the truck and go to Lunch.

On the way home we ran out of gas and I was pissed. "I can't believe you guys took the truck all the way to town and didn't put gas in!"

Mike looked at me and said "Jump on down Bob and get you a cold glass of water."

I had to laugh.

It took me a year to live that down.
