Monday, August 14th was declared a national holiday in Canada.

"Why?" you ask???

Because it was RON SHENKER'S 50TH BIRTHDAY!

And, I was 'in absentia' and missed the party!

Why does all the good stuff happen when I'm not around?

I don't think you missed it Tom. It's just that all these drugs have Patty skipping threw time, expanding the past behind her while collapsing the space in front of her. To us she appears to pop out of nowhere as a medical patient that returned home, however to Patty it's just another day.
