The gulf-stream is a bit far away for my boat so the furthest I take it is about 15-20 miles offshore, and that is only on the best of days.
(18' Wellcraft)

I caught this puffer a couple of weeks ago while fishing a wreck about 10 miles out. Pretty interesting as I had never caught one quite like it and is seemed pretty large for a puffer.
