Blonde, True Story

Ol'#2 says that she needs 'pure aloe' for her radiation treatments. I look it up on the web and the consensus is that the whole plant is better. I go outside, cut some and process it. It's green and not acceptable.

Back outside, cut some more, fillet it and process. Now it's clear.

Her question: Are you sure that it's PURE aloe?

Re: Blonde, True Story

I reckon that depends on what you mean by 'process it'.

You mean like this?

You didn't add any of that xanthan gum or green dye #12?

I used a small food processer. Down here we use aloe for everything from cuts to sunburn to upset stomach. Everybody has some in their yard.

Thats good stuff, I don't care where yer from.
My other also likes to make "blonde" statements and write it off as "blonde". But I do know, as (I hope) most others don't, that the carpent doesn't match the drapes, so I take her blaming it on being "blonde" as a cover up for the unanswered question.
I always answered these statements with, " Here's your sign". The puzzled look always amuses me.

I always tell my wife, Blonde is not a hair color, it's a state of mind.

That's priceless! I think that makes many of my blonde moments sound not so bad.

We have an aloe vera plant too. It sure does take over the garden!

So it works for stomach aches too?
