the best things in life...
are often just so simple. Last weekend I enjoyed for the first time:
Captain Morgan's spiced rum + ginger ale = "Cream Soda".
For those of you that enjoy the taste of cream soda, this drink is 'the bomb'. Suffice it to say, I thoroughly tested the bartender's ability to consistently reproduce the drink's mildly sweet and refreshing flavour. A nice variation from the typical gin/vodka/tequilla fare typically served up for summertime socializing.

Yea I would comment on this drink but I don’t want to be accused of being an alcoholic again.
Enjoy

Spiced rum (especially "Captain Morgans") is like candy. It's my favorite drink. Like it with Ginger Ale but enjoy it more with Coke and lots of ice. They go down tooooo easy. That's why I switched back to beer !! I treat myself to a bottle at Christmas and that's it... It's kinda like if you put a full jar of candy in front of a kid and said have all you want, would he stop half way through??? Not likely. Love it but hate it the next morning!!!

AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGG!
Try this.
In a tall glass filled 3/4 with ice, add....
Equal amounts of pineapple and coconut rum until you are about 1" from the rim.
Add OJ almost to the top and then a splash of Grenadine.
These are known as HarbourBlasters in Little Harbour, Abacos, Bahamas.
The last time that I was there, the record was 10. The best of our crew managed 6. LOL
Start with the same glass and ice, add......
Pineapple rum and vodka to the same preportions.
Top off the glass with pineapple juice.
These are known as Baby Barracudas. They are from Elbo Cay, Abacos, Bahamas. There are some stories behind them that will never be told here!

Being relatively new to this alcohol thing.. I remember just recently when everyone was posting about rum and coke and I just haaad to try it. One and I was bouncing off walls and posting on here at lightning speed. Dare I try this new one? I think I might just give it a taste..or two..or three (assuming it's as smooth as the rum and coke was that is.) haha
If I do get up the guts to try it, you can bet everyone here will know it. I jabber my head off when drinking obviously.
