Band Of The Future

I'm a huge music fan, but I don't recommend artists because everyone has differing tastes, and rightly so. Someone has to buy the Celine Dion albums, afterall.

But this band. Oh. They cut right through all that "taste" stuff.

Mad skillz. They are probably looking for a record deal, so if you are in the biz...

http://vimeo.com/9625670

yeah, I'm too lazy to figure out the proper video post this morn.

I love the comments on the site

Actually I dug deep into the comments and it linked to the bands website. In the comments there, the guitarist is in there defending himself. I guess he was duped? The other members are serious about how good it is, while he regrets doing it.

Here is the guy at some type of talent show...not bad really...

Re: Band Of The Future

Years ago I saw The Stones and Van Halen (the old Van Halen) at the Tangerine Bowl with 70,000 people. Eddie cut into Eruption and the entire building was literally shaking. Dave was too drunk to remember the words to any of the songs, but Eddie was kickin. And Mick... there are no words for Mick, he was unbelievable (and I'm not really a Stones fan). The energy just comes off that guy in waves.

I hear ya. I saw the Stones on the 1985 tour. I didn't care about them, I was there to see Living Colour. However, when the Stones came out, I was blown away. Still probably one of my top 5 concerts of all time. 21st row, dead center

talent? This is kinda old but still leaves a lasting impression. Don't know if this posted the link correctly but..... These High Schoolers have went a long way so far and I expect the roads to stardom will await if they want it....

All I can say is ....Wow, That was bad... Where were these kid's parents with a little dose of reality. I still remember when my mom pulled me aside and told me my dreams of an NBA career were never going to come to fruition... hell, sometimes the truth hurts but you need to hear it.

Re: Band Of The Future

So Kyras, Which band member is you son or nephew?

The wife and I just got back home from a weak end in Nashville to see Eric Clapton Sat. night.

He is "THE" Master!!!!!!!!

Unbelievable concert.

Vince Gill even showed up to do an acoustical set with him.

Re: Band Of The Future

Eric is better now that he has gone back to his blues roots. His 80's stuff still makes my skin crawl.

The band I posted sounds a bit like The Shaggs. I love The Shaggs. Ineptitude and unintentional genius at its finest.
