Anybody Seen The $700 Lawn Mower?

Was doing a little shop'n today and saw a $700 Honda lawn mower. Not a rider! The thing has 2 blades (spinning in opposite directions I would think) $700 bucks! My my, that is some dough! It even says it has cruise control! For $700 I want to say it should come with a little illegal alien to do the mowing, but that would not be politically correct so I won't say it.

They do cut sweet and run smooth though.

Last year I bought a new mean green machine (Lawn Boy, I like green machines). That sucker was almost $500 and was not even top of the line. The cruise control is nice. It's called Sens-a-Speed. It goes as fast as you walk.

Yeah, but $700, and no cup holders!

The blades rotate the same directionif memory serves me correct. The Hondas are really nice and five to seven hun for a decent mower is about right.

My last mower cost 8k,and it didnt have a cup holder. But it did have a seat.

For 8 thousand bucks that seat better at least be a Lazy Boy.

I paid 100 bucks for my mower and does a good enough job for me. I got better things to spend my money on than a $200 plus mower.

LMAO, I agree, if I could afford astro turf that's what I'd have!! IMO a brown yard is a great yard since it requires less maintenance Too busy during the summer to give a crap how nicely a mower cuts since if I get to it within a weeks time I'm lucky-hence my JD rider with mulcher blades...and it does have a cupholder and hydrostat....just lacking pwr steering but yard is too small for that big of a machine back when i bought this one. Already caught alot of grief from the family/friends since "you bought a rider for that?, that's just right for a push mower" but when I offered any of them $20 to push mow my yard I did'nt get any takers either since this neighborhood is like some hollywood movie-when just 1 person breaks out a mower, and I'm not joking a single bit-the entire neighborhood turns into a big buzzing haven of mower and weed eaters, rotten azz "keep up with the Jones" bastages anyways

So in retrospect, I'll pay the additional $800 for a machine i can plunk down on and be done mowing in 20-30 minutes as opposed to 45-1hr by hand and it looks just fine by the next morning. I grew up in this house so I still have fond memories of pushing this darn thing..and it aint gonna happen again

Josh, I'm surprised you can't mow that yard in 9 seconds flat!

Tried that, and the damn mower was on the bumper so the cut grass was all beveled Working on a wheelie bar as we speak

On a side note, I'm sure the neighbors all thought I was goofy when I first bought this place, my big "fun" when mowing was to get at the bottom of the ditch and see how far up the hill I could ride a wheelie on my JD LOL!! longest was only about 13ft, but it was the repeated trying that was the most fun.

When we was kids we took a engine out of a 440 spitfire or whatever it was and put it on an old rider chasis...had to add a bucket of concrete out back since it's just spin the tires...was way cool until homegrown throttle stuck wide open and buddy had to bail before it crushed into a tree and ended our fun 14yr old ingenuity at it's best LOL!!
