Any TOOL Fans Out There?

the band that is...
went to ATL yesterday for the mini tour. Nothing short of spectacular to say the least. Their show is a total sensory overload.
an orgasm of the ears and eyes IMO

I'm not old enough to have had the chance to experience a Pink Floyd show but I'd say Tool is the PF of my generation.

some pics/video taken with my phone. quality sucks
I've got more if anyones interested but theres alot better quality vids on youtube

Re: Any TOOL Fans Out There?

I have a TooL bumper sticker. The double meaning makes me smile, you know, a contractor truck with a TooL sticker.
I saw them last year in NH. I was the old guy! You've seen me. 50 years old and singing along with all the songs. I probably new the songs better than most of the young'n there.
Music taste has changed since then. I'm listening to Drive by Truckers, right now while doing some layouts on the computer.

The last tour I saw them on, 2 years ago?? Turned me off. It was horrible. He played paper, rock, scissors with an asian girl for 10 minutes.

They did not even play prison sex. All the crap he played was from the radio. I hate to say it but, maynerd kind of soul out, in my eyes.

Best damn show i have ever seen was Tool. They have some crazy stuff going on but it is awesome. I wish I could have seen them last time they rolled to the valley.
Is Maynard still behind a white screen in the back of the stage?

Re: Any TOOL Fans Out There?

Looks pretty cool, I've spent the best years of my life going to punk, hardcore and metal shows. I've always wanted to see a GWAR show, heard they're super sick. If you guys wanna check out some other killer bands... Throwdown, Converge, Lamb of God, Poison the well,
Unearth. All killer bands. The fast heavy stuff keeps me going at work. My Ipod and stereo are my most important tools. A day with out music is a real bad day. Indeed.

Maynard stands back in the shadows beside Danny. sometimes you can see his siloutette back there doing his funky, wailing arm moves.
