Any George Jones Fans ?
Going to see George Jones in concert Thurs night-Could not pass this up-to see & listen to A living Legend. Hope He sings The Grand Tour & He stopped Loving her Today ! Man it doesn't get any better !!!!!!!!!!! They just don't make many like him now days.............. Any Fans ???

Great entertainer! Will go see his show if it ever shows up in my area.
He and many other legends frequently appear on Hee Haw. Shows every Sunday @ 8 PM on RFD channel. |

Back in his day he was nicknamed "no show Jones". He used to drink a little.... But yeah... he's a living legend. Let us know if he dont show.

Jones told him he could do one concert and buy Woodard Ave. Woodard is one of the busiest business areas around here just across the river. Would I go see him? Yes, I think I would. |

I saw him back in the 80's. The Possum is one tuff knot.

There's a station in Alabama that has streaming audio and they play the Possum from time to time. www.wqah.com

The show was just Super- I got chills to see a living legend like him-that is Still going after all these years-of many come & gone- "Who's Gonna Fill His Shoes" Nobody ever will............... His last song was "Don't need no Rocking Chair" Real Down Home Country Music..... No Gimmics!! Just Awesome !!! I will never Forget it!!

I went to 3 of George jones concerts over 3 years and he only showed up for one of the. Fortunately Willie and Johnny (and wife) did show up when they were scheduled so it was not a total loss.
